The portal is hereby open for both freshers and returning students to do course registration for the 2024/2025 academic session.

OPENING: Monday 14th April, 2025

CLOSURE:   Sunday 6th June, 2025

Steps for the payment of Accommodation Fee – 2024/2025 Freshers 


Payment closing date: Saturday, April 5, 2025

 
1.       Logon to https://student-portal.ui.edu.ng 
2.       Enter your username and password
3.       Select My Profile menu on your dashboard to view your Hall of Residence
4.       Click on Fees menu, then Click My Fees and Select Hall Fee
5.       Proceed to Payment
6.       When the transaction is completed, 
a.       Click on Fees 
b.       Click Transactions and 
c.       click view to download or print your receipt
7.       Please Note: The Hall Warden will allocate you to a room in the  
 

Fees must be paid on or before Saturday April 5,2025 and only through the portal as above

INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS

STUDENT LOAN UTILIZATION 2023/24 ACADEMIC SESSION

The University Management has magnanimously approved that e-wallets of students who applied for 2023/2024 NELFUND loan be credited.  This would enable students whose loan have been approved to utilise the e-wallet to pay levies and proceed to course registration before the stipulated registration deadlines. 
For students who have paid their fees, information will be provided on the steps for necessary refunds after the fund is received in the university.

Click on the link below for guidelines on how to use the credit in your e-wallet and other NELFUND loan-related support.
Do not delay course registration as your registration is only deemed completed on submitting course form and approved by your department.

STEPS TO UTILISE THE APPROVED NELFUND STUDENT LOAN

1.       Login to the portal with your usual credentials (Username and Password) 
2.       On the dashboard, click the wallet menu to view your approved amount and the transaction details
3.       Click my fees - Categories of fees will display
4.       Click the button beside the fee option you are paying and click Proceed
5.       Confirm the correctness of your payment and Select Pay with Wallet
6.       After successful payment, go to Fees, then select Transactions to confirm the status of your payment.
7.       If successful, click the view button under Actions for payment details. A pdf version can also be downloaded.
8.       Repeat 3 – 7 for other payments
9.       If there is shortfall in the amount credited by NELFUND the balance should be paid through the portal (See 5 above), but choose Pay with Remita.

CLICK NOTICE OF MATRICULATION
You are welcome to the University of Ibadan Registration Portal for Undergraduate Students.
You will be able to perform the following on the portal when logged in:
  • ·         View and update Biodata
    ·         Pay fees.
    ·         Register for courses for the session.
    ·         Process Hostel Accommodation 
    ·         Process ADD and DELETE during second semester
    ·         Print payment receipts.
Kindly ensure that you follow the guidelines provided carefully.

NOTICE TO ALL STUDENTS

Kindly be informed that the Vice-Chancellor, on behalf of Senate, has directed that students be allowed to complete their registration for the 2024/2025 session, without penalties, latest by 12 midnight of Friday, 27 June, 2025. Heads of Departments will harvest the list of registered students for their different Departments on Monday, 30 June, 2025.

The above is for information and strict compliance as no unregistered student will be able to sit for the semester examinations.
